When you start on any kind of easy weight loss program, there’s a few things you need to do to ensure your health remains in great shape. The last thing we want is to lose weight, but suffer with our health because of the diet we followed.
Drink at least four large glasses of water per day.
Constipation is not a significant problem on a low carb easy weight loss diet, but it can become one if you do not maintain hydration. Drink at least four glasses of water per day - in addition to any other drinks acceptable on the diet - and you should have no problem.
Take a multivitamin supplement
It is very unlikely that you will experience vitamin or mineral deficiencies on a high protein/low carb nutritious diet (unlike many other diets). However, as a matter of safety, it’s always best for people on any type of diet to take a multivitamin tablet every day to ensure good health. Providing the tablet includes the daily vitamin C requirement (and most do), you no longer need to have an orange or lemon per day, saving 15 grams of daily carbohydrate intake in the process.
